I also think if you filter a database so it only has the one game in the filter, then turn the filter on in the game explorer you can search for the position in that one game

In the tree explorer if you use the menu button on the upper right (three lines) you can switch databases in whichever database tab you are in to view the tree for a different database. Then from there click the browse games button (folder icon).

Thanks - that is a pity. How many different elements/colors need to be set? Maybe users can do it themselves if it is loaded from a config file?
